Se realizará del 10 al 13 de julio de 2025 en el Instituto Línea Cuchilla de Ruiz de Montoya, Misiones, con el lema “Caminos de ayer que hoy nos convocan”. Esperan reunir a las mujeres de todos los distritos de la Iglesia Evangélica del Río de la Plata.
En un nuevo Jueves de Negro, día para visibilizar el compromiso por la justicia de género, la comisión organizadora del Encuentro Sinodal de Mujeres de la IERP anunció que el tan anhelado encuentro se realizará del 10 al 13 de julio de 2025 en el Instituto Línea Cuchilla de Ruiz de Montoya, Misiones. La pastora Mónica Hillmann amplía detalles en esta entrevista.
¿Qué dejó el primer Encuentro Sinodal de Mujeres de 2023?
Fue un hito histórico para la Iglesia Evangélica del Río de la Plata y especialmente para las mujeres. Fue la primera vez que las mujeres de todos los distritos pudieron reconocerse como mujeres, como cuerpo y movimiento, como fuerza que tiene fe y que quiere cambiar las cosas. A través de los diferentes talleres descubrimos a mujeres en las cuales nos reconocimos, que nos fortalecieron y nos enriquecieron, para animarnos a caminar juntas a hacer un cambio. A tomar espacios para poder hablar de las cosas que nos preocupan, a poder decir y expresar aquello que queremos.
La sede se repite en este segundo encuentro, ¿por qué?
Queremos que el encuentro se afiance. Lo hacemos en Ruiz de Montoya porque conocemos el lugar, nos sentimos cómodas, bienvenidas y acogidas. Y también va a ser nuevamente en julio, para que coincida con las vacaciones de invierno. Eso permite que las mujeres puedan organizar sus trabajos o el cuidado de hijos e hijas.
¿Qué se está preparando para la segunda edición?
Queremos retomar todo lo que se trabajó en 2023. Por eso el lema va a continuar el del primer encuentro que fue “Mujeres con fe cambiando las cosas”. En 2025 será “Caminos de ayer que hoy nos convocan” porque más allá de que nos logramos reconocer como mujeres, como una fuerza y como un movimiento, creemos que en los últimos tiempos ha habido retrocesos en las cuestiones de las mujeres y necesitamos fortalecernos.
A nivel de iglesia este año se cumplen 40 años de la ordenación de mujeres y queremos reconocer a las que en las comunidades aportaron de lo suyo dentro de sus dones, sus posibilidades, con sus tiempos, con sus ganas, con su fe, para que las comunidades e iniciativas diacónicas salieran adelante.
Queremos darle más voz y más protagonismo a las laicas que hacen mucho en nuestras comunidades y muchas veces quedan invisibilizadas. Por eso el equipo de trabajo es más grande en esta oportunidad. Está bueno esto del plural mujeres, somos una comunidad, somos un cuerpo, trabajamos en equipo buscamos ayudarnos, acompañarnos y queremos que eso se refleje en la organización y en cada espacio del nuevo encuentro.
¿Cuántas mujeres esperan recibir?
Fuimos 160 en el primer encuentro y nos desafiamos a llegar al doble. Esto tiene que ver con las buenas repercusiones, el testimonio de aquellas que fueron o vieron los diferentes vídeos y se quedaron con ganas de ser parte de ese encuentro.
¿Cuándo podemos esperar más novedades?
En el próximo Sínodo de la del IERP en octubre la Comisión de Promoción de la Mujer nuclea a las mujeres de todos los distritos y va a adelantar más información.
La Fundación Hora de Obrar y el Servicio Evangélico de Diaconía (SEDi) acompañan y apoyan la organización del Encuentro Sinodal de Mujeres de la IERP.
