El proyecto Tape Pora subió al escenario del ciclo que celebra la alianza de la delegación de la Unión Europea en Argentina con la sociedad civil.
La Unión Europea invitó a la Fundación Hora de Obrar a compartir la experiencia del proyecto Tape Pora de la mano de su codirector, Javier Allara. Empleos Verdes Locales, Trama y Redes Chaco también contaron sus experiencias en un formato que busca difundir y visibilizar ideas, proyectos y personas para que pueden expandirse y crecer junto a otras.
Allara narró cómo una búsqueda personal lo llevó hasta la selva misionera y a involucrarse en el proyecto Tape Pora, con el que buscó promover una mejor calidad de vida para las comunidades indígenas mbya guaraní, con acceso a la educación, al agua, a la salud y a la justicia. Este viaje derribó fronteras y prejuicios, para darle la bienvenida a la verdadera transformación. La charla se puede revivir en el canal de YouTube de la Union Europea en Argentina.
El proyecto Tape Pora de la Fundación Hora de Obrar fue seleccionado en 2020 entre otros 370 presentados ante la UE. Entre los resultados más destacados, Tape Pora implementó 32 obras de luz y agua, redujo un 45% la deserción escolar en año en el secundario BOP 116, produjo material educativo bilingüe, capacitó a más de 1000 personas y fortaleció la salud integral indígena, facilitó el acceso a la justicia y también promovió la seguridad alimentaria a través de la producción de 470 toneladas de alimentos.
La delegación de la UE en Argentina creó el ciclo de charlas en 2021 con el objetivo de difundir y visibilizar ideas, proyectos y personas que pueden expandirse y crecer junto a otros, compartiendo su experiencia y tendiendo redes en sus entornos.
