El material reúne fotografías que muestran la diversidad de facetas de la diaconía de la Iglesia Evangélica del Río de la Plata. Hora de Obrar recibe pedidos a través de un formulario online y enviará ejemplares de cortesía a todos los puntos de predicación y obras diacónicas de la IERP.
Ya está disponible una nueva edición del calendario anual que se propone mostrar la diversidad de facetas de la diaconía, en esta oportunidad, con la consigna: “Cuando Jesús salió de la barca y vio a tanta gente, tuvo compasión de ellos y sanó los que estaban enfermos. Ya anochecía cuando sus discípulos se acercaron a él y le dijeron: «Ya es muy tarde, y en este lugar no hay nada. Despide a toda esta gente, para que vayan a las aldeas y compren de comer.» Jesús les dijo: «No tienen por qué irse. Denles ustedes de comer.» Ellos le dijeron: «Aquí tenemos sólo cinco panes y dos pescados.»” Mateo 14:14-17
El calendario de este año muestra con especial énfasis cada uno de los ejes de trabajo que comprende el compromiso de la Fundación Hora de Obrar, y la Iglesia Evangélica del Río de la Plata, por un mundo más justo, equitativo y sostenible. Encontrarán en su interior representadas diversas actividades vinculadas al trabajo junto a pueblos originarios a través del proyecto Tape Porã, el trabajo de los y las jóvenes por el cuidado de la creación, el compromiso en la lucha ecuménica por los derechos humanos, la vocación por el cuidado de la creación tanto a partir de la reforestación de la selva misionera, como en el apoyo a la transición agroecológica de diversos productores y productoras. También se hacen presentes las infancias y juventudes acompañadas a través del eje de desarrollo comunitario, para el desarrollo de sus proyectos de vida, hobbies y su educación. Se refleja también el compromiso diacónico, el trabajo codo a codo con las congregaciones, y el acompañamiento a las mujeres en sus proyectos, por una vida plena y libre de violencias para todas las personas.
«La diaconía es una tarea que debe ser entendida como un llamado del mismo Jesucristo, donde podemos encontrarnos y recrearnos como comunidades para hacer presente el Reino de Dios frente a las desigualdades de este mundo cada dada vez más injusto y violento. La diaconía es un testimonio comunitario donde Jesús nos hace ver posibilidades, alternativas y construye esperanza para nuestras comunidades de Fe, y para todo aquello que está a nuestro alrededor.», expresa Javier Gross, presidente del consejo de la Fundación Protestante Hora de Obrar, en la presentación de la edición 2024.
La Fundación enviará un un calendario de forma gratuita a cada punto de predicación y obras diacónicas. Para quienes deseen un ejemplar individual, pueden ingresar en este link. El valor de cada ejemplar es de $3000 (pesos argentinos).
