Hora de Obrar hat auf Antrag des Vorstands der Evangelischen Kirche von Río de la Plata das erste persönliche Treffen der Bezirksdelegierten für die Bewahrung der Schöpfung einberufen. Ziel ist es, im Dialog mit den sieben Kirchenkreisen einen sozial-ökologischen Arbeitsplan zu erstellen.
Während des Treffens konnten die von den Bezirken gewählten Personen und die Vertreter der IERP-Jugend die enorme Vielfalt der Umweltgegebenheiten kennenlernen, in denen die Evangelische Kirche des Río de la Plata präsent ist und arbeitet.
Die Kommission wird den Gemeinden zur Verfügung stehen, sie besuchen, über Ideen und Vorschläge sprechen und sich Gedanken über mögliche Schwerpunkte und Aktivitäten für einen Arbeitsplan machen.
Hora de Obrar organisierte das Treffen, das am 10. und 11. September 2022 im synodalen Sitz der IERP stattfand und begleitete die Gründung der Kommission.
